U21 hurlers in action this Sunday

The under-21 hurlers begin their long awaited championship campaign this weekend when they face Celbridge in the first round on Sunday at 1pm. Their opponents have home advantage for the game but the winners won't have much time to recover for a semi-final as they will be expected to play mid-week and a possible final the following Sunday. Under the guidance of Hugh Nevin, Declan Buckley, Feargal Molloy and Mark Nugent the team have been preparing well and hopefully can add even more success to what has been a brilliant year for the club at senior level.

 

Minor hurling final in honour of Ruairi Kelly

Sunday week, November 29, marks the first ever presentation of the Ruairi Kelly Cup for the winners of the Kildare minor A hurling championship. The final between Killard and Naas takes place in the club at 2pm and members of the Kelly family will present the cup to the winning captain.

It's a fitting way to remember Ruairi and if you can help out on the day please contact hurling chairman, Aidan Sinnott.

 

U/21 Hurling Training Tonight

U/21 Hurling Resumes

Following a very successful year so far for the hurlers, the U/21 hurling championship is here. Training will commence this Saturday at 3.30 in the club. We would urge all players (even if it has been a few years) to come up for some skills training. The draw has not been made yet, but we have a few weeks before the first round. See you on Saturday...
