The Sigerson Cup - the All-Ireland football championship of third level - comes to Maynooth at the end of February when NUI Maynooth hosts the finals weekend with matches being played in the college, Maynooth GAA club and the Sigerson Cup final set for Leixlip. As part of NUI Maynooth's fundraising drive to host the Sigerson finals weekend, there is a golf classic at Carton House on Thursday, 25 February.
The finals weekend takes place on Friday 26 February and Saturday 27 February. The cost of entry for a team of four in the golf classic is €400. You can also sponsor a hole or a tee-box for €100. Registration for the golf classic takes place at 10.30am on Thursday 25 February with tee-off at 11am. Both the Montgomery and O'Meara courses are available and there will be a shotgun start. There will a meal and prizes after golf.
